Embark on an unforgettable day trip from Marrakech to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest and most cosmopolitan city. Your journey begins with a convenient hotel pick-up in Marrakech. If your accommodation isn’t directly accessible, you’ll receive an email the evening before with the exact pick-up time and the nearest meeting point.
After approximately 40 minutes on the road, enjoy a short 20-minute stop for breakfast and a restroom break before continuing your drive along the highway, passing beautiful stretches of Morocco’s agricultural landscape.
Upon arrival in Casablanca, your first stop is the Habbous Quarter, a charming district known for its blend of traditional Moroccan and French colonial architecture, peaceful souks, and beloved pastry shops. Next, visit Mohammed V Square, a lively central plaza surrounded by elegant administrative buildings and a fountain — a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike.
The highlight of the day is the visit to the Hassan II Mosque, a stunning architectural wonder perched on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. Completed in 1993, it features intricate tilework, marble columns, and one of the world’s tallest minarets. Entry to the mosque is optional and costs 140 MAD (approx. €14), with a guided visit lasting around 1 hour and 10 minutes.
After the mosque, enjoy a 50-minute lunch break at a local restaurant (lunch not included), then head to Ain Diab Beach for an hour of relaxation by the sea — take a stroll, sip a coffee, or simply enjoy the ocean breeze.
Your return journey to Marrakech takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes, including a short restroom stop. You’ll arrive back in the city by evening, ending a day filled with culture, history, and scenic beauty in one of Morocco’s most iconic cities.
